Work was pretty slack today and i was feeling so tired the whole day.

Was supposed to meet B for dinner and movie at AMK Hub after work but i waited almost 45 mins for him and by the time we decided to settle with Pepper Lunch for dins, it was already pretty late for movie. Besides, Ed was meeting us to help me with my laptop.

Everyone left surprisingly early so i followed the crowd home at 10.30pm. Took a bus & train back to Yishun and then cabbed home after that.





Talking about cabbing..
I woke up almost an hour late today! If B hadn't called me, i wouldn't even know i was late. Left home at 9.15am and i waited for 10 freakin' minutes for a cab! I panicked when i was only left with 5 minutes to reporting time.
So i prayed for a cab and 2 cabs came! Omg! Thank God!
The Comfort cab U-turned from the other lane to come pick me up but there was another cab which came before it! I hesitated a wee bit before deciding to take the cab nearest to me. I felt a lil' bad having made the cab driver U-turn for nothing! Aww.

Cabbed to work and was still late. LOL! Sian.


So anw, yesterday was my off-day. Yy wasn't free for guitar session so i was supposed to meet up with Houng Jun for lunch since he'd just returned from his ITP in China but was cancelled last minute and.. the primary school called me in the morning for relief teaching in the afternoon!

& 2 of the mcqs were..

After the what-seemed-like-forever 2hours spent with the primary 2 students, i rushed to a primary 1 class and omgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg, the whole 1 1/2hrs there was DAMN DISASTROUS OKAY!
I'd to deal with an austistic boy, a boy who has anger management problem, and a whole class of students with attention span of only 1 second.

I'm so lazy to elaborate the whole thing but i tell you, i so felt like going straight home and leaving the kids behind. Ergh.
But then again, there're some really sweet moments.

"I had a great time. And until my time comes, I'm going to keep having a great time," he said.

Brenden's selfless dying wish was to help the homeless.

"They're probably starving, so give 'em a chance," he said, "food and water."

But Brenden was too ill to feed them on his own. So volunteers from Emerald City Lights Bike Ride passed out some 200 sandwiches to the homeless in Seattle.

Then Brenden's last wish took on a life of its own.

A TV station in Los Angeles held a food drive. School kids in Ohio collected cans. People in Pensacola, Florida gathered goods.

And here in Western Washington, KOMO viewers from all over took part in the Stuff the Truck food drive in Brenden's honor. Hundreds with generous hearts donated six and a half huge truck loads of groceries and more than $60,000 in cash to benefit Northwest Harvest and Food Lifeline.

Brenden touched hearts all over the world. His wish came true, and he lived to see it.

"He had the joy of seeing all of the beautiful response to his last wish," said his grandmother, Patricia McMorrow. "It gives him great peace and he knows that his life has meaning."

"He's left a legacy and he's only 11," said his mother, Wendy Foster. "He's done more than most people dream of doing just by making a wish."

Days before dying, Brenden surprised us with a sudden burst of energy. He wanted to get off the oxygen, hop out of bed and go buy a video game. Wise beyond his years, but still a kid.

"I have been so blessed to have this child. A mother couldn't ask for a better son," Wendy said.

The B-Man, as his family called him, had one more wish before going: sprinkle wildflower seeds to save the bees. He had heard bees were in trouble.

Blind 5 Year Old Korean Girl Pianist - Child Genius

Cried at the part when she sang You Were Born To Be Loved. Such a meaningful & mature song sang by a 5 year old! She's just so terrific!
Look at her small hands.. and even without the use of the pedals, she could still play the songs so amazingly well. I feel so ashamed of myself now.


Children are such innocent and cute people. I find them teaching me so many more important & meaningful lessons than teachers.

My legs feel like they're breaking anytime soon. I've been walking non-stop since 12pm! Ohmy. Poor sexay legs. LOL!!

When i was in the bus this afternoon, i sat beside my primary school friend.
& i kept stealing glances at her and thought, "Is that Nydia?"
I had the urge to talk to her but was scared i'd embarrass myself if she wasn't who i think she was. LOL!
So 3 bus stops later, i finally plucked the courage, "Are you Nydia?"

Nydia, "You're Elizabeth, right?"

LOL! Lame sia! We double checked with each other only 3 bus stops later. LOL!

Met up with the colleagues in the afternoon for lunch at Swensen's and NON-STOP shopping at Haji Lane. Think we stepped into at least 15 stores! LOL! Crazy right?!

That shopping trip totally worn me out man!

We really walked non-stop okay! We went from one store to another. I'm so fascinated by the shops there 'cos their interior designs are so freakin' cool lah! But the stuff are quite expensive. Sigh.
So i bought only a belt for $24.90. Yes, it's another 25 bucks. I seemed to be linked to so many $25 stuff recently. LOL!
Sian, coming to think of it, that belt that i got is sold only for 'bout $10 to $15 at Bugis. Sian, waste money again.
My conclusion is.. Bugis just doesn't deliver that superb shopping feel as much as Haji Lane. HAHAHAHA.

Met up with Manfred at Orchard for dinner in the evening.


& yes, i've finally gotten my hair cut on tues night.
The salon closes at 8pm and i was worried the hairdresser would rush through my hair cut since my appointment's 7.30pm.
He surprised me when he was done with the cutting 15mins later!

Colleagues & family said my new hair's nice BUT Manfred said the side look looks bad. LOL.
I TOTALLY AGREE MAN.

Titus' 21st b'day bash on Saturday night was pretty enjoyable. Rushed over after knocking off from work at 5.30pm.

So glad Tit seemed to have enjoyed himself so much tho' the celebration's a day earlier than his actual b'day (sunday).

Daddy drove me to work ytd morning since momsy & him were attending the first service. Helped Gracia with the children's service at 9am and there's a primary school boy who cocked up a whole lot of trouble for the teachers. Self-timer was set to 10 secs.
When i opened my bottle, the cap rolled onto the floor and i was laughing like mad lah! 'Cos i wanted to pick it up but 10 secs was almost up so i quickly pose while still giggling. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH.
